Currently services are being celebrated by our clergy in our own church. We encourage parishioners wishing to view online services to visit either
Facebook or YouTube to view our services. Sharing services from our own church allows us to continue in faith and community.
We have recently made necessary technological updates which have increased the quality of the sound and camera capabilities.

Saturday Vigil 5:00PM
Sunday Divine Liturgy 8:30AM

Any parishioners wishing to receive Holy Communion are encouraged to contact Fr. Alexis 518 925-9165 to arrange for this. Six people are allowed each week. At this time there are often under six people each week who have asked. All are encouraged to try and make these arrangements. The need for confession and the best possibility for it, may be discussed at that time. As a reminder, anyone entering the church is asked to continue to follow guidelines for safety.

Currently only clergy and choir members are allowed to attend services. Your commemoration names continue to be read and anyone wishing to have a candle or special prayers offered are asked to contact Fr. Alexis or Fr. Michael You may not be able to attend the building of our church but prayers are being offered for all.
Growing in Faith
Faith is defined in Hebrews 11:1 as “…the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”  Small children have faith in their parents for all things. They don’t question it, they simply have “faith” that things will be provided when they need them. What would it be like if we trusted in God, our Father, with this faith.

In the Gospel of St. Matthew we read:
Matt. 8:24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. 25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!" 26 But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

At this time, our daily lives are like those of the Apostles in the boat. We too can learn to have faith as the Apostles learned. Christ does not judge us for our lack of faith, He strengthens us. When Christ rebuked the storm He assured us that our faith in Him will deliver us. Jesus Christ who knows all, knew there would be a storm coming, He took the Apostles out on the boat, He fell asleep. He did this to give the Apostles and us faith; to show the power of faith and the protection of faith.

John 20:29 Jesus said to him, "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe."

May we pray for faith.
Church School Lessons

Due to the current situation, we have not been able to meet or talk with the children (and adults) to provide spiritual instruction. Some of the teachers have created a lesson to be shared as a family with additional age appropriate questions to follow. It is our hope that you take the time to sit with your child(ren) or to learn on your own.
